When I was new to this game, I went through every bulb bookand gardening book with bulbstofind what had been grown here before the dreaded list came in. I found one Rainlily, and certainly was not worth all the time and effort I had spent on it. Earlier this year I was talking with Bill Dijk, who has all the old catalogues still. And he said he had the greatest problems with the powers that be, even though he could point to bulbs having been sold here yearsbefore the list came in. They are police, first and foremost.
