Rain arrived last week on the Pacific Northwest coast after 3 months of drought. In flower now are Lilium formosanum (from seed obtained through PBS), Crocus pulchellus (ditto), and a scattering of other Crocus in my garden, lavender flowered and long separated from their tags. Amaryllis belladonna flowers are tattered due to the rain, and almost gone. Several patches of Primula should be flowering, but the dry months set them back hard and they are just now beginning to put out new leaves.
