The seeds I get are fat for a Gladiolus and the wing is definately there though not huge compared to some types of Gladiolus. The colour is dark reddish brown, sometimes paler on the papery bit (the wing). I have never rememberd to sow any but I am fairly sure the few good looking seeds which I get would be viable.
