Hi Jim & Randy, yes this is a robust species, good & self supporting. One other thing the sweet little old lady mentioned is the buds are quite dark pink, & i noticed the filaments are quite dark too, so could that be possible, all the C. Gowen ive seen so far are very pretty pastel shades ?
