>continuing to beat a dead horse.... >engraved bricks >I'm involved with a volunteer group taking donations for a local >museum in exchange for placing an engraved brick in the bricked >courtyard of the museum. I'm thinking I may have a brick made up for >each of my flower beds to name/label it. Dear Randy and all, A few years ago I borrowed a friend's kit and made a few bricks for the garden. They are too big to label individual plants, but I have a few odds and ends: "SPLENDID WEEDS" ( 2 STONES). "PEONY" (1 STONE) ETC. I used a kit similar to this http://amazon.com/Magnetic-Poetry-Make-Stones-Delu… and a concrete coloring agent so they look like real bricks. The local Hobby Lobby craft store had various kits complete with press in letters and brick shapes for molding. Easy and fun....and very permanent. Best Jim ps with a complete alphabet of letters, you can let your imagination run wild. Talk to your plants. -- Dr. James W. Waddick 8871 NW Brostrom Rd.
