deer and fritillaries

Jerry Lehmann brought up the topic of deer resistance, and that reminds me to ask a question: what has been the experience of others with regard to deer and fritillaries? In a section of my garden where the crocuses and tulips have been repeatedly cropped during the last month, the fritillaries have not been touched.

That the deer do not bother the great stink lily, Fritillaria imperialis, is no surprise. But other species with no apparent odor to my nose remain untouched. What have others seen?
