Dear Friends,
Glad to hear my Lycoris seeds are growing well. The fertile
species are generally easy to grow, but slow to mature. When I want
maximum germination, I grow them in pots planted about 1/2 in deep. I
usually transplant them in their first season of growth to give them
ample room. They do not 'like' root restrictions.

The pictures look like nice young seedlings.

Seedlings are best transplanted when you can still find the
foliage although adult bulbs are best moved when they are dormant
totally.

Good luck to all growing these. Jim W.
