Dear Friends, I live in a small town near to a small city. When I want to read a new highly specialized publication, I go to my local tiny library and submit an interlibrary loan request. Within days or weeks, I can almost always get any book regardless of its obscurity from some other library as a loan for a couple of weeks at NO COST. I can even do this all over my computer and the library emails me when the book has arrived. Some times books come from thousands of miles away from large well known research libraries. Not all libraries are part of the inter-library loan system, but it is heartening that so many specialized books are available. Of course I do not expect newly published books to be available immediately. It takes time and some patience. Best Jim W. -- Dr. James W. Waddick 8871 NW Brostrom Rd.
