A little bit of netting or a twig should do for the first year. as Alberto says, keep the root ball intact with minimum disturbance for the first year. Seedling bulbs are better not re potted too soon, if their roots are entangled grow them as a clump, transfer the whole clump to a bigger pot if necessary. Separating them will damage the root hairs which will slow their growth and can cause premature dormancy.
