'Jessie' is a decent blue and hardy enough, but the 2 best growers are 'Wisley Blue' and 'Alberto Castilllo'. They come through and bloom grandly even after the harshest winters and foliage damage. 'Charlotte Bishop' is a weak grower, but I wish some one might combine the best of Alberto with Charlotte - a "Charlotte Castillo" so to speak, with large pink flowers and good vigor and hardiness. Any new cvs on the horizon ? Best Jim W. -- Dr. James W. Waddick 8871 NW Brostrom Rd. Kansas City Missouri 64152-2711 USA Ph. 816-746-1949 Zone 5 Record low -23F Summer 100F +
