Dear All: After weeding the blueberry bed I discovered about a dozen Galanthus olga-reginae in flower! Colchicum autumnale Album Plenum is the last of the Colchicums to really look decent in the Chicago area. Cyclamen hederifolium is in full flower. Unlike Jim W. to the west of us, we've had some nice showers to keep soil moisture. Combined with bright sunny days and coolish nights it feels like Indian summer even though we have not had a killing frost yet.
