Hi Pamela and all, I would suggest a wide, fairly shallow pot -- a bulb pan, rather than a deep pot. Mine spend the summer outdoors in a lath house with weekly irrigation. They bloom, if at all, in December-January for me in the greenhouse. I water them irregularly in winter, but they don't always bloom for me either.
