>In addition, I've been looking for an Eulophia petersii, which is a >very neat, succulent, "bulbous" orchid without much luck - any leads >(plant, not seed) would be appreciated. Dear Jude, I got mine years ago from Girgsby Cactus garden. I've divided it and traded away many of them. It gets quite large and heavy. It doesn't help that I grow mine exclusively in stones with a handful of sandy soil mix - makes for a heavy pot o'plants. I do think orchids are suitable for PBS, but they should probably be limited to geophytic types such as Eulophia, fully terrestrial and hardy such as Bletilla and keep away from the numerous tropical, jungle, epiphytic sorts that are well covered elsewhere. I do hope you and Tim will work out your trades privately or through the Market Place. I assume Ellen has returned from the Amazon and not been devoured by Jungle Army Ants, Caiman or Piranha (let's hope not) Just a reminder http://senecahillperennials.com/index.php/… Best Jim W. -- Dr. James W.
