I want to correct something I told the list yesterday. I went back and checked the federal regulations, and as far as I can tell, only five species of Homeria/Moraea are actually classified as weeds that can't be imported into the US: M. collina, flaccida, miniata, ochroleuca, and pallida. The others are apparently legal to import and share across state lines. That includes two of the prettiest ones, M. comptonii, and M. elegans. I am pleased. You can read the regulations here: http://ecfr.gpoaccess.gov/cgi/t/… da426227e984b&rgn=div5&view=text&node=7:5.1.1.1.17&idno=7#7:5.1.1.1.17.0.42. 2 Bill Aley, if you're listening I'd appreciate it if you could confirm that I'm reading the rules right. Sorry for the confusion. Mike
