From Jim Shields: 1. Seeds of Crinum bulbispermum, hardy, [Mrs. Morris #2121 x Mrs. Jordan Red #2119] 2. Seeds of Crinum bulbispermum, hardy, [Mrs. Jordan Red #2119 x Mrs. Morris #2121] The flowers of both Crinum parents are very similar, white with red bands. The mature bulbs are hardy outdoors here in the open. They even seed around a bit in the bed, with a few volunteer seedlings coming up through the mulch. Crinums that are hardy outdoors in the ground here in central Indiana generally have to have bulbs at least 2 inches in diameter when planted out in order to survive the first winter. We also mulch them heavily in autumn for at least the first two winters they are in the ground. Some of these seeds may turn out to be hardier than that. 3. A few seeds of Hymenocallis guerreroensis From Mark Mazer: 4. Seeds of Trillium foetidissimum 5. Seed of Pinellia tripartita var atropurpurea, ex Hornig 6. Seed of Crinum bulbispermum, ex Herb Kelly's "jumbo mix" Thank you, Jim and Mark !! Best wishes, Dell Dell Sherk, PBS BX
