Hello Justin. I'll hazard a guess but there are too many things it could be. I'm thinking a day lily (hemerocallis) but the roots aren't quite right. And the leaf margins are undulate Not usual for day lilies. However, this caveat: If it was growingh in dense shade, all bets are off. I have seen yucca look utterly unlike itself when grown in shade, with lots of water. Grow it on and find out.
