Diane asked, >Is anyone growing Nomocharis successfully? I used to have a lovely planting of N. aperta, which is supposed to be the easiest species to grow, but the rabbits and deer found it and it is no more. You have to give it a cool position where it will not dry out in summer, and I think planting it near a tree so that it's not too wet in winter helps too -- the various species are all on the opposite of a "Mediterranean" moisture cycle.
