Hi Jane: Thank you very much for this information. The seeds were planted last night in a very well drained soil mix augmented with bird grit (has ground up sea shells in it) to provide a slightly alkaline pH. The seeds were hairy. While this area does benefit from the occasional summer rain (hurricane season), it is not reliable. I've only searched the internet in a cursory way for commercial sources and did not find any. Really attractive species and it would be wonderful to be able to offer seeds/plants to the BX to get it more widely in cultivation.
