I have begun harvesting seed from my winter aconites - a bit earlier than usual. For years, I have been scattering seed of this plant wherever I thought it might thrive. It produces lots of seed. But I wonder if the seeds are more likely to germinate if they are sown very fresh rather than after being held dry for 1 - 2 months. Does anyone have experience with this?
