Hi All It seems that a lot of folks are coming to the North American Rock Garden Society's Western Winter Study Weekend in Portland next weekend (13-15 March). I know that some people are flying to Seattle, due to less expensive air fairs. So, if you are one of these people, and you're looking for something to do on Thursday night in Seattle, let me invite you to attend the Northwestern Chapter's meeting that evening. We're having a speaker who's topic is 'Cultivation of Temperate Terrestrial Orchids. His name is Arlen Hill, owner of Keeping It Green Nursery (http://www.keepingitgreennursery.com/). Everyone is welcome to attend. The meeting starts at 7:00 p.m., near the main Univ. of Washington Campus. Particulars can be found on the Chapter Website at: http://home.comcast.net/~nargs.nw Dave Brastow - Northwestern Chapter President P.S. Those with time to kill in the afternoon, could visit the very excellent Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture, about a mile away from our meeting site. http://www.washington.edu/burkemuseum/
