Hi, Whilst doing programming work on the PBS Wiki I ended up visiting pages haphazardly and it occurred to me how many beautiful photographs I had never seen. This experience inspired me to create a new page: http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/wikifeed/ which displays ten random entries from the PBS Wiki and is updated daily. Obviously you can bookmark the page and visit it when you like. However it is also possible to subscribe to it as an RSS feed: http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/wikifeed/… so that the page comes to you. For example if you have iGoogle as your web browser home page you can incorporate the PBS Wiki Bulb Day RSS feed into it. Users of MicroSoft Internet Explorer 8, can add Bulb Day as a "web slice" to their favourites bar - just visit the Bulb Day page and look for the green web slice icons. The RSS feed can be used as a "photo feed" for programs like picture frames. For example if you have the Google Photos Screensaver you can have a selection of PBS wiki photos as your screen saver. As well as being pleasing to the eye this page may also be a useful way of learning about bulbs. -- David Pilling email: david@pilling.demon.co.uk web: http://www.davidpilling.net/ post: David Pilling P.O.
