The Wiki Bulb Day is great. ----- Original Message ----- From: Mary Sue Ittner<mailto:msittner@mcn.org> To: pbs@lists.ibiblio.org<mailto:pbs@lists.ibiblio.org> Sent: Friday, July 17, 2009 3:57 PM Subject: [pbs] Wiki Feed/ PBS Bulb Day Hi, David Pilling has added an interesting new feature to our wiki. He has created a page which has 10 species featured, picked at random from the wiki. Every day the one on the bottom is removed and a new one is added to the top. You can subscribe to it as a RSS feed or a web slice if you use a browser that supports them or just bookmark it. We have so much information on the wiki, that this is an interesting way to spend a very short time learning about something new or enjoying the photos of something you already are familiar with. He has linked it to the Home Page, but here is the link so you can check it out: <http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/wikifeed/>http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/wikifeed/<http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/wikifeed/…> Mary Sue _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.ibiblio.org<mailto:pbs@lists.ibiblio.org> http://pacificbulbsociety.org/list.php<http://pacificbulbsociety.org/list.php> http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/<http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/>
