Dear PBS, After reading the many postings on this topic and, especially, after reading Lou Jost's contribution, I'd like to tell about how the current regulations have affected the PBS BX. Most of our donations continue to come from US members. The number of species of geophytes already in cultivation in the US is astounding, and the generosity of our members continues to make it possible for us to share in this wealth. So, I think that we do have the leisure to formulate calm and intelligent responses to this latest "crisis." I don't think that any of us, as modern, environment-concerned gardeners would want to be, in any way, complicit in introducing an invasive plant species or a new plant disease. So, please read all of these postings on the subject and do some research before you react. Thanks, Dell Dell Sherk, PBS BX -----Original Message----- From: pbs-bounces@lists.ibiblio.org [mailto:pbs-bounces@lists.ibiblio.org] On Behalf Of lou jost Sent: Sunday, July 26, 2009 1:24 PM To: pbs@lists.ibiblio.org Subject: Re: [pbs] James' observations re plant regulation
