Hi All, Not long ago I got a seed list from Penrock in South Africa. Looking throught the list carefully I came across this Aloe listing: A. modesta is a rare dwarf grass aloe species from high altitude short grassland in a few regions of Mpumalanga. It is the only scented aloe on the African continent. The flowers smell of cinamon mixed with lemon juice. The species is decidious and has a bulb like Aloe kniphofioides. So this in an Aloe that has a bulb? Never having seen either the A. modesta or the A. kniphofioides I was curious as to if anyone has grown either of these species before and can shed some light on this?
