storing SA Amaryllid seed

Hi Jim/Bill/All,

I think the low heat lamp would be good, it would let me keep the door on the fridge. The fridge idea was more or less an idea to keep them alive and going, if just bearly so. More or less keep them in stasis until fall.

Down here in the south not many people have basements. I have tried starting the seeds in the house (about 78F/25.5C ) but damping off is a problem for the smaller seed like Strumaria. I used anti fungal products to no avail, even used a fan for extra air circulation.

With central air, 68F/20C would draw too much fire from those in my house that like it warmer.

I might just plant some out and hope and put some in the fridge and see what works out best between the two.

Thanks all

Justin
