Although most of the talk in the popular press is about global warming--more extended and sophisticated presentations HAVE noted the threat of increased storms, in the sense of hurricanes, tornadoes, AND unexpected discrepancies in weather. The severe winter ice storms, in Kentucky, and record-breaking freezes in other parts of the world are not to be considered a contradiction to the overall warming trend. It's what goes along with the changes, i.e., accompanying instabilities. The words for the overall change don't always match the events, any more than any map equals the territory. The map only represents the territory, AND "there be monsters here" ..
