Acis trichophylla: cultivation in pots

Sorry, Rodger, if I didn't phrase my comment on Acis trichophylla clearly.

It does best for me in my usual very gritty soil mix (a little forest
humus, but no peat), in full sun, plunged in a frame that is nearly
but not quite dried out in summer. It has very good ventilation.

I think the secret with getting it to perform is not to disturb it
very often. The white form does better for me than the larger,
showier pink form.

It is colder here, usually, than where Rodger lives. Indeed, it's
snowing as I write.
