Leafhoppers are another insect notorious for spreading viruses, but, now that 
you mention it, I do not recall seeing them on bulbs; only on shrubs.

Anyone know if leafhoppers attack the usual range of garden bulbs? Lilies, 
crocuses, narcissus, tulips, etc.
