I can report some odd flower this year as well here in Northern New Jersey. Crocus banaticus showed up just fine. My complete collection of Lycoris failed to appear. Makes me think that some pathogen has invaded the site. I plan to dig down and see if the bulbs are there at all. Crocus specious made a feeble show with Crocus sativus just pushing up foliage. Colchicums were very early and some failed to show at all. All our shade trees are still in full leaf with just the beginning of fall color. Arnold New jersey
