Thanks to Glen and Kelly (and Ellen), I had E. bicolor in the ground, for a couple of years where it multiplied and bloom. One hard winter and it is gone. I am just a bit too far over the edge, but I was surprised at its hardiness and that suggested for other species. I always encourage gardeners to "just try it" outdoors. I know Kelly is significantly south of me andGlen must be just a bit more protected and milder too. Kansas City - the land of extremes. Best Jim W. -- Dr. James W. Waddick 8871 NW Brostrom Rd.
