Dear All,

The items listed below have been donated by our members to be shared.

If you are interested in obtaining some of them, please email me PRIVATELY
at <dells@voicenet.com>. Include "BX 155" in the subject line.

Specify the NUMBERS of the items which you would like; do not
specify quantities. It is a good idea to include your snail mail address,
too, in case I don't already have it. Availability is based on a first come,
first served system. When you receive your seeds/bulbs you will find,
included with them, a statement of how much money (usually $2.00/item)
(cash, check, or Pay Pal to <Arnold@NJ.rr.com>; no money orders, please) you
should send the PBS treasurer to defray our costs for packing and
first-class, priority-mail, or international postage.

PLEASE NOTE: NEW POSTAL-RATE SCHEMES NECESSITATE OUR PLACING A SURCHARGE ON
EACH ORDER FROM PBS BX OFFERINGS.

Some of you are members of the online PBS discussion forum but are not
members of the Pacific Bulb Society. THIS BX OFFERING IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO
MEMBERS OF THE PBS. Consider joining the PBS so that you can take advantage
of future offers such as this. Go to our website:

If you would like to donate seeds or bulbs/corms to the PBS,(Donors
will receive credit on the BX for the cost of postage for their donations.),

From Lynn Makela:

1. Small bulbs of Hippeastrum 'San Antonio Rose' (H. aulicum stenopetalum x
traubii forma doraniae)

2. Small bulbs of Zephyranthes primulina

3. Bulbs of Zephyranthes reginae

4. Bulbs of Habranthus magnoi, white

5. Cormlets of Ixia pumilo

From Stephen Putman:

6. Seed of Crinum variabile

7. Seed of Pancratium maritimum

8. Seed of Zephyranthes grandiflora

9. Seed of Hymenocallis eucharidifolia (few)

From Roy Herold:

Paeonia seeds:

All are of the Paeonia japonica/obovata/obovata alba persuasion, with white
or very light pink flowers. Please, no arguments as to which is the valid
name these days. I keep the name under which I received it, right or wrong!

Plant seeds NOW, in the ground. They will germinate this fall and emerge
next spring.

10. Paeonia obovata alba -- the pick of the litter, originally from the
garden of Bob and Joan Means. The leaves (roundish, matte finish) and stems
emerge with a medium red color, a fantastic oontrast to the white flowers.

11. Paeonia japonica -- white flowers, pointy green leaves.

12. Paeonia obovata -- white flowers, shiny, roundish green leaves, short.

13. Paeonia obovata -- smaller white flowers, emerges three weeks later than
any of the others, and is taller. Different.

14. Seed of Calydorea coelestina -- 'Bartram's Ixia', amazing 3" blue
flowers on

thin wiry stems.

Only a few of each cyclamen. You may get a little sand mixed in, used to

keep the seeds from sticking together.

15. Cyclamen libanoticum -- apple blossom pink, the most beautiful flower of

any cyclamen, IMHO.

16. Cyclamen balearicum

17. Cyclamen hederifolium -- pure silver leaf, possibly from the 'Nettleton

Silver' strain

Thank you, Lynn, Stephen, and Roy !!

Best wishes,

Dell
