Mention of weedy alliums reminded me to ask if Allium triquetrum is a dangerous weed. I saw it in the wild recently and thought it was pretty, but it was forming quite a large colony, and it would probably be very happy where I live, so I'm doubtful about introducing it. A. pulchellum is already a bit of a problem here, though its late-summer flowers are welcome and good for cutting. Jane McGary Northwestern Oregon, USA
