My sister grows Tulips, down in North Carolina, and this year she says the stems are not strong enough to hold them up. My guess is that she replaces them every 3 years or so. I hate to admit not knowing the answer to her but I am not sure why this would happen unless there was some mineral deficiency, or a frost that destroyed the stem, or ??? Any theories and is this deja vu for anyone else? I have never, never had this problem. --------------------------------- Food fight? Enjoy some healthy debate in the Yahoo! Answers Food & Drink Q&A.
