Good evening My name is Norman Featherstone and I live in Nababeep, a village in Namaqualand, South Africa. Due to my involvement in tourism as a tour guide I have become very interested in the amazing variety of plants to be found in this wonderful region. It seems as though every time I visit an area within Namaqualand I come across something unusual. My main interest is succulents but having seen the wide variety of bulb plants to be found - we have identified amongst others a small and large colony of Cyrtanthus herrei, a liliale. We attempt to keep track of as many colonies of Gethyllis grandiflora and namaquensis as possible. Kind regards Norman Featherstone KOPERBERG TOURS & SAFARIS P.O.
