Yellow flowers, Sounds cute or a thug. Anyone know or grow >this. Any warnings? Wim de Goede sent me Ipheion 'Jessie' a couple of years ago. Tony Hall selected it and named it for his late sister. The flowers are nearly true blue and quite dark and rich in color, although they soon reflex, losing a little of their impact. It is increasing well. It's on the sale list of Dix Import this year. Ranunculus kochii is one I grew for a number of years and then lost, I think to slugs. It is by no means a thug! It increases quite slowly and does not spread. It's a typical alpine snowmelt buttercup that does best with a dry summer dormancy. If you get it, it is best suited to the rock garden or trough. Jane McGary Northwestern Oregon, USA
