Adam in Glenview IL. > Adam, It is because when you respond to a digest email you leave the whole email there, so that you then receive that complete digest within the next digest (you just did it again, so you'll now get digest 19 within digest 20 (as you commented), all now in digest 21 in the same way). If you delete the remains of the digest when you respond, instead of just replying, typing your response at the top and then sending... you'll then not have the previous digest included in it as well. It is just a matter or deleting the rest of the email when you respond, instead of including it within the email with your comments. By the way.... if you got down to the end of your email is digest 20 (i.e the end of the digest 19 bit) you'll discover the rest of the emails that you are "missing". They are just included there in sequence after your email. I'll also email you this privately as I doubt that you will actually see this email, because it will now be in sequence behind your email re the extra digest insert.... and now you'll have both digests inserted above it.
