Muscari 'Saffier'

After neglecting the genus for years, I decided to take a good look at
Muscari this year. "A good look" meant ordering lots of bulbs. In addition
to ordering bulbs, I did some Googling and also checked out Martin
Phillipo's website.

Martin's site has pointed out a potential problem: I ordered bulbs of
Muscari armeniacum 'Saffier', but the illustrations I see in catalogs are
not what Martin shows on his site.

Martin's site shows a very interesting looking Muscari, a Muscari armeniacum
with a stretched-out inflorescence somewhat like that of M. comosum. The
mass distribution catalogs show a typical Muscari armeniacum.

Has anyone else ordered this commercial 'Saffier' and gotten the interesting
looking one? I'm getting that feeling that I am going to be disappointed
next April. Is anyone other than Martin growing this interesting-looking
one?
