Arnold, Let me comment on one question: You , of course, are speaking of the fragrance of a Crocus, but my Nothoscordum are very fragrant and I am practically at sea level. Just about 7 miles in from the Pacific and only a slight raise. Someone said they didn't notice any fragrance from them, I think it may have been Mary Sue.
