Last winter I got seed of Delphinium hesperium and Delphinium cardinale from Ron Ratko. Both quickly germinated magnificently but then went dormant in mid-spring. I wondered if they were done but kept them bone dry over the summer and lo-and-behold saw they were returning today. They were sown thickly in a 3 ½” pot and I’d appreciate advice on how long to keep them in their seed pots and how and when to handle the seedlings, ideally at a time they can be moved straight into the garden.
