I hardly dare pipe up in this august company, as I only grow about 5 agapanthus, and they're all old hat. I do want to mention, though, that I have a "passalong' plant from a friend in Illinois that is said to be zone-5 hardy, and that was distributed 30 or more years ago by Wayside Gardens. It looks like a pretty typical A. campanulatus. I've had it for years, but only got it into the garden this summer, so will await results. Panayoti Kelaidis says the Headbourne hybrids are very hardy in Denver (of course).
