>Crocus sieberi 'Hubert Edelstein', colchicum szovitsii 'Vardahovit' >and colchicum kesselringii are showing flowers here in Northern >New Jersey > Dear Arnold and all; I think C. sieberi 'Hubert Edelstein' is about my favorite crocus, but it has always been sort of a weak grower for me and has a short garden life. I keep trying it in other parts of the garden and new spot seems smidge better. But the flowers seem to have poor substance and are not very durable. Do others have this experience. BTW it is just finished here in Kansas City. Best Jim W. -- Dr. James W. Waddick 8871 NW Brostrom Rd. Kansas City Missouri 64152-2711 USA Ph. 816-746-1949 Zone 5 Record low -23F Summer 100F +
