Hi: Adding to Jane's comments, lowland Pasithea is autumn/winter/spring gorwing and summer dormant, when it can not be thoroughly baked as we are accostumed to treat Cape bulbs or the "tubers" will shrivel away. Hardier populations are dormant under snow in winter but you know all about snow as a mulch, etc., no need for futher explanations. Perhaps a southern oriented spot beneath a window by the wall and a thorough mulching can be of help.
