Hi all, I have a new batch of seedlings from seed received as "Gladiolus saundersii" about to bloom. So far they look not much different from things I've grown as G. oppositiflorus salmoneus in the past. This will be the second batch of seeds of G. saundersii I've tried. I see no differences between the two species as I've grown them here from seed. Flowers of the new lot of "saundersii" should be well opened in a couple more days. I'll try to post pictures then, on the Bulbs_Images list ( mailto:bulbs_images-subscribe@yahoogroups.com ). I try to grow some of my Gladiolus in pots. What do you folks find to be a satisfactory potting medium and pot size for blooming Gladiolus in containers?
