Dear Paul,
 I grow the 3 species in question here. The difference is mainly in the leafwidth:
S lutea: 10mm, S lutea aungustifolia: 5mm    S sicula: 2-3 mm
The flowers and the time of flowering and the bulbs are virtually the same.
