Dear All:
Brian Mathew says that L. autumnale is about 4-6" tall, L. autumnale v.
oporanthum is about 10" tall, while L. autumnale v. pulchellum produces its
leaves and flowers at the same time. All of mine are in bloom now. I would
agree that v. oporanthum is much taller, but the v. pulchellum doesn't look
much different than the type. In my plants, though, v. pulchellum doesn't
have quite as much pink to the flower or the stem.
