Hello All: Mary sue kindly signed me on to the PBS forum, although I've been without a computer for a while. I have a "funny" I was told yesterday regarding the Naked Ladies that are found all over the region and are blooming magnificently now. A friend told me she was with her twenty year old son driving down 101 when she commented "Look at all those Naked Ladies!". Her son almost caused a serious accident -- looking for the naked ladies. Needless to say, he was a bit disappointed! I should add that there seem to be two different color forms growing here. One is the usualy deep pink, fairly uniform in color and very pretty. The other has very dark pink tips to the tepals, with the rest of the tepal being almost white. This second population looks to be very old. There are hundreds (maybe thousands) of plants growing around a derelict farmouse and all down both sides of the road very close to the ocean. Diana Chapman Telos Rare Bulbs
