Rod Saunders lives with his wife Rachel Saunders in Cape Town, South Africa. Together they are co-owners of Silverhill Seeds, a company specializing in South African seeds and bulbs. Throughout much of the year they travel around South Africa collecting seeds. Rod is the former chairman of the Indigenous Bulb Association of South Africa, a first rate photographer, and a popular speaker.
