Hello Ken, Thank you for sharing so much information on the propagation of Hippeastrum. I have difficulties understanding the slivering method. I think the most helpful way to make me understand would be an example carried out on a bulb, for example a kitchen onion and then share the photos. I do not understand in which direction the bulb is cut with the slivering method to keep the mother bulb intact and flowering. For cutting for twin scaling it is clear, and the pictures in the article show it. But this uses up the mother bulb entirely.
