Re: I found three bulb surprises grown from seed this week: I was surprised this spring with a new garden resident, a seedling daffodil. I have lots of different just plain 'catalogue' daffodils, and hardly ever get any seed set on any of them, but occasionally I find a seed pod, and this year I have 3 seedlings in a pot. However, this daffodil appeared this spring and I have never seen this version, please see pics. I think it is hose in hose; it has a double row of tepals, and a distict corona that is packed with another one inside. It had no functional ovary or stames. That's different from any other doubling I have seen. I'd appreciate anything daffodil officianados have to say, Thanks (drkuonen@hotmail.com) -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
