invasive???

I think that is a great idea. Many folks don't realize that it is not a case of invasive VS native species. Imported is not synonymous with invasive -- as others have said -- it is all about right place right place. And, in terms of food plants, if we had to rely on native plants, a) there wouldn't be enough of them to forage, and b) many native plants won't grow in domesticated settings.

Good idea. And like so many good ideas, it provokes: " *duh* why didn't we think of that before" :)
